ABOUT THE CONFERENCE & AWARDS

Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Radisson Blue Hotel on August 9th, 2024, as we proudly present the Kenya Pensions Awards! Building on the success of our 2021 event at Pride Inn in Mombasa, we’re back with even more passion and purpose.

We’ve partnered with Pensonomics Magazine, a platform for thought leaders in the field. Together, we aim to showcase the tangible impact of pension investments that can make a difference in the world.

Service

How have you improved your service delivery to clients for the last two years? Have you provided any extra value services such as trainings and seminars?

Performance

The award will lay key emphasis on how your performance has been for the last two years, benchmark services to clients and how they can be compared from that of your peers.

Innovation

We’ll be looking at the new services you have introduced for the last one year, additional to the basic core and the value added services provided.

What to Expect

This year, we're diving deeper, going further, and reaching higher with our theme: Beyond ROI. It's not just about numbers; it's about impact. It's about making a difference that lasts beyond the balance sheet. So, if you're ready to be inspired, moved, and motivated to make meaningful investment decisions, mark your calendar and secure your spot at the Kenya Pensions Awards. Let's journey together into a future where pensions pave the way for a better world.

About this 2024 Conference Theme

We will  explore the broader impacts of pension investments, such as social responsibility, environmental sustainability, or even the well-being of retirees.

It could also delve into innovative approaches to pension management that prioritize long-term value creation and holistic benefits for stakeholders.

This thematic approach opens up a world of possibilities for recognizing and celebrating excellence in the pension industry.

Our aim is to showcase how pension investments are making a difference today, not just in the future. We want to help future pensioners recognize pensions as investments with real benefits.

Last time we held the awards, there was a significant drought, which highlighted the importance of sustainable investment practices and resilience in pension management.

This year, under the theme of “Beyond ROI,” we want to discover how pension funds are not only generating financial returns but also contributing to the well-being of society and the environment. We’re eager to celebrate innovative approaches that are shaping the future of pension management.

Kenya is still lagging behind in investment portfolios that have a significant impact on society. To emotionally connect with what motivates action, we must recognize that the upcoming generation of investors, Gen Z, demands to see tangible impacts that cut across various aspects of society.

Benefits of Participating in the Kenya Pensions Awards

Winning or even being nominated for an award can significantly enhance the reputation of your organization. It serves as a public and professional acknowledgment of your commitment to excellence in pension fund management and services.

The awards provide an opportunity to measure your practices against other pension funds or service providers. This can help identify strengths and areas for improvement in your operations and strategies.

Receiving an award can be a powerful marketing tool. It enhances the brand image and can be used in promotional materials to build trust and confidence among current and potential members or clients.

Recognition through awards can boost employee morale and motivation. It shows team members that their efforts are valuable and contribute to the organization’s success, which can enhance job satisfaction and loyalty.

Preparing an entry for the Kenya Pension Awards encourages the organization to innovate and find efficient solutions to existing problems. It fosters a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

Participating in the awards ceremony allows you to meet peers, industry leaders, and professionals from various sectors. These interactions can lead to new insights, trends, partnerships, and opportunities.

Often, awards programs provide feedback from judges who are seasoned industry experts. This feedback can be invaluable in refining your strategies and operations.

Organizations recognized for excellence are more attractive to top talent. Winning an award can help in recruiting skilled professionals who want to work for a leading organization.

For pension funds, public confidence is essential. Being recognized by a reputable awards program can reassure members that their investments are being managed effectively.

The process of preparing an application for an award can lead to a thorough review of your governance practices, potentially highlighting opportunities for better compliance and oversight.

.

Overall, participating in the Kenya Pension Awards is not just about winning; it’s about taking advantage of an opportunity for self-assessment, improvement, and showcasing dedication to excellence in the pensions sector. It also reflects a commitment to transparency, accountability, and best practices that are essential in the financial services industry.
